This Week’s Ted Tool Resource
This week, Ted would like to recommend two essays from guest Sean Mahoney’s blog, seanologues.com. First is A Hot Mess, Now At Room Temperature, a piece in which Sean discusses the idea that things aren’t always perfect, even with sustained success in recovery. “I woke up today happy and well rested. Yet I realize that this is all a moment-by-moment proposition all contingent on how I take care of myself.”
The second essay is Eventually, You’ll Think About Your Ass, a humorous reflection on accepting the things one cannot change. In it, Sean says, “Despite having the interests of a 13 year-old girl and the mental focus of a 22-year-old, I have to accept that I’m aging.” Sean recommends this piece as his personal favorite from 2017.
