In this episode of Full Potential, Now!, Ted speaks with Dr. Stephanie Steinman, assistant professor and psychologist at UW Madison. Dr. Steinman shares some excellent knowledge on mindfulness, relapse prevention and coping with the coronavirus. Don’t go anywhere.

About Dr. Stephanie Steinman:

Dr. Stephanie Steinman decided on a career in psychology in 7th grade. After completing her master’s degree in clinical-counseling psychology, she worked in Seattle at a residential treatment facility for adolescents diagnosed with substance use and mental health disorders using mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She then moved to Madison, Wisconsin and worked full-time for UW Health while completing her doctoral degree and having two children. She is now an assistant professor and psychologist at UW Madison and practices clinical psychology in an outpatient setting with all ages. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Steinman teaches medical students, psychology interns, and residents. She was named the National Addictions Outstanding Clinician of the Year in 2010. She specializes in addiction and mindfulness-based treatments.
